Grace Multiplied: Born or Living

2 Peter 1:1-4. Grace does not deliver us from the hardship, but is with us in the midst of hardship. You must come to peach with God through sacrifice and service. Grace and peace be multiplied to you. Righteousness should increase in our lives. We don't sit stagnant after being accepted by Jesus. You should be studying and putting that knowledge to use. How often are you putting your knowledge of salvation to use? Just like skills at work are better honed with daily use, so will you lose familiarity with how to share the Gospel if you never use it. By increasing your knowledge of God, you will increase in His grace and His peace in your life. This is what the power of God did in my life. I was a sinner. We, who were once God's enemy, became not just God's friend, but God's family. Philippians 3:12,8. Acts 1:8. Ephesians 3:5. When someone asks, "How's your life?" You don't just respond, "Well I was born." Life is not a single event. Tell me about your spiritual life. I was born... We need to walk with the Lord and live (be alive). What a waste of God's grace if you do nothing. 2 Corinthians 1:19-22. As the power of God is at work in me, I have laid hold of His promises and I can be steady when the world is in turmoil. Because I know who God is.
