Grace, Peace, and the Rescue
from Covenant Promise Hosted by Curtis Dixon
Swimmers caught in a rip current do not need a lecture on swimming techniques. He or she does not need a lesson on how to float. They need someone to jump in the water swim out, reach out, and carry them back. A rescue is not advice. Jesus did not come to give drowning people tips. He came to go into the water for us. Paul presented to the churches of Galatia A messages of grace and peace with a rescue plan orchestrated by God through His Son Jesus Christ. •Grace to you, a gift not earned. •Peace to you, fruit from that grace. •Jesus Gave Himself accomplished the rescue.
