Grace || Respond

"...and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus". Romans 3:24 NIV   Our church provides a Fall Family day for the community. They provided rides, corn maze, games, lunch, prizes, candy, and more. In order to bless in love, we charged nothing for the community.   We made it clear that it was free.   A new attendee was skeptical and told the Pastor he was waiting for the bait and switch. He found none. Everything was, indeed, free so he offered to make a donation to the church.   Some people will not accept Jesus’ selfless sacrifice and grace on their behalf.   Although it sounds humble to say “I can’t accept God’s gift,” we should remember it wasn’t “free.” It cost Him His Son. But when we admit we need a Savior and redemption, we can be assured the price was fully paid.
