Gracial and Marshall Rise as Tigers' DTs | Missouri Tigers Football News

Two gritty defensive tackles, Marquis Gracial and Jalen Marshall, are finally getting their shot as starters for the Tigers this season—after years of grinding through limited snaps and proving their worth. Both joined in 2022 and steadily earned trust, with Gracial playing every game for two seasons and Marshall rising from bench to starter. Coach Drinkwitz praised their relentless improvement and the fierce competition pushing them harder in practice. Gracial’s run defense last year earned top marks from PFF, and he’s added a dangerous pass rush this season. Marshall, though not yet ranked, showed flashes of potential. Behind them, veterans like Sterling Webb and rising sophomore Jason Dowell keep the depth strong, creating a hungry, high-performing interior line ready to dominate.
