Grad School is a Marathon, so let's learn how to run one!

from Constructive Interference · host Constructive Interference

Sarah, my co-host for this episode, has been an avid half marathoner for a while now and basically taught me everything I know about running. This interview was a testament to this knowledge that I’ve worked hard to follow. In the discussion we talk about things like running form, tips to running further, places to look for more information, and even things we think about during running (you all might find that especially funny). I know everyone has their own views of what kind of workouts they like or what they think of as an acceptable amount of uncomfortable sweating, but give it a chance maybe you will learn something new. Be sure to check out the blog post that goes along with this episode to get the whole story behind this interview. Also, yes the picture for this episode is from a run Sarah and I did together... we found a cute turtle!

Wiki Politiki with Steve Bhaerman iOM Radio Network - OMTimes At a time when political polarization, dysfunction, and confusion seem to be at an all-time high, and when noise and static seem to be drowning out sane discourse … the Wiki Politiki Radio Show offers a heartening alternative: Fun, laughter, constructive conversation, and insight. Its purpose is to cultivate the wisdom of many perspectives, and create generative conversations to help us work together to find real solutions to the problems we face … or as Swami would say, “Let’s bring left and right front and center to turn the funk into function, and leave the junk at the junction.”Each week on the Wiki Politiki Radio Show, host Steve Bhaerman (also known as cosmic comic Swami Beyondananda) will bring two “visionary, solutionary” voices to the show to offer their viewpoints, and then collaborate to find a wiser way forward. We’re not expecting our guests to agree about everything. That would be boring and unproductive! We do expect that by speaking You Are Law- Debt & Lawful Freedom Now tjmarrs From http://youarelaw.org Get truly debt free fast, protect assets, stop unlawful interference on your natural rights, deal with civil and criminal matters... and more - a whole new way using Common (Sense) Law. A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism Hans-Hermann Hoppe Here is Hans Hoppe's first treatise in English — actually his first book in English — and the one that put him on the map as a social thinker and economist to watch. He argued that there are only two possible archetypes in economic affairs: socialism and capitalism. All systems are combinations of those two types. The capitalist model he defines as pure protection of private property, free association, and exchange — no exceptions. All deviations from that ideal are species of socialism, with public ownership and interference with trade.Narrated by Jim Vann. Tower 4 Bloody FM Mike Archer is a newly appointed fire watcher in the Wyoming woods. While he's never done anything like this before, he needed something new after his mom passed. Now he hopes to spend his days in a tower above the trees looking for fires and working on his new book. But things aren't as quiet and peaceful as he hoped. Strange interference blasts over his radio at night and he starts seeing and hearing creepy noises in the woods. But are these odd occurrences actually happening or is he just going stir crazy?
