Graham Blanks on running at the Olympic games, overcoming injury, and getting ready to defend his NCAA XC Title

from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton

Today Graham Blanks returns to the podcast after competing at the Olympic Games! Graham is an NCAA Champion in Cross country and was looking unbeatable after he ran 13:03 for a NCAA record indoors but soon after he suffered an injury. He missed the bulk of his indoor season and got a late start to outdoors but ended up placing 5th at the NCAA outdoor 5k and then qualified at the Olympic trials for the Olympic Games in Paris! He went on to place 9th in the world in the 5k and is already looking forward to getting back to the Olympics someday. But right now he’s gearing up for one more ride in the NCAA! I always love catching up with Graham and it was inspiring to hear about his comeback from injury.
