Grahame Jones - Texas Backcountry Hunters and Anglers

from Impact Outdoors Podcast · host Derek York

Texan to the core, Grahame Jones grew up loving the outdoors and figured out how to turn his passion into his profession. Grahame recently retired as director of the Texas Game Wardens and now serves as the Texas state chair for Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. He is also a fulltime guide in and around the Austin area fishing the numerous lakes and rivers in the Texas Hill Country. This was a great episode with plenty of stories to go around from Grahame's childhood trips down hunting in Mexico to chasing poachers in East Texas as a Game Warden to helping protect our public lands and waters in Texas and across the country with the help of volunteers through BHA. The Texas chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is the voice of sportsmen & recreationists in Texas who value wild land and water that support healthy wildlife populations and their habitat, public access and opportunity to that land and water, and the concept of fair chase.   ~Texas BHA Find out how you can get involved with BHA: Texas BHA - Backcountry Hunters & Anglers Voice your opinion on major conservation issues facing the states here: Take Action - Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Book a fishing trip with Grahame: Grahame Jones — All Water Guides See what BHA is about here: Backcountry Hunters & Anglers - YouTube Please help the podcast out by subscribing and leaving a rating and review!
