Grandma’s Summer Bible Camp // July 30, 2025

Shelley Sumner, CEO of Life Choices of Memphis and co-host of Life Talk TN is the guest host for Byron Tyler on this edition of Mid-South View Point. Shelley’s guest is her mom, Becky Deaux. The discussion revolves around God’s faithfulness throughout their generations, their salvation experience with Christ, Jimmy’s heart-attack, wedding and engagement plans, a high-school graduation, and Becky’s diagnosis of cancer. The trials were tough and challenging but the Sumner family lean on God and learned that He was their refuge. Becky talks about the grandchildren and their annual summer date for Grandma’s Bible Camp where they learn Bible stories, discover ways to serve others, field trips, crafts, and sing songs to help remember the Bible themes and verses.
