Having first taught there in 2013, he would go on to make a name for himself as both a fearless lightweight competitor and exceptional coach. Due to the lockdowns Bruninho would be forced to go back to his home country of Brazil for 6 months, but as luck would have it opportunity would present itself in Hikari Martial Arts. We caught up with Bruninho since he returned to Kuala Lumpur and found out what his 6 month sabbatical back home was like. How he sought new ways to teach people Jiu-Jitsu and how he has grown as a coach since he came back to Malaysia to lead Hikari's Jiu-Jitsu Program.
