#gratlist: #bff | Faith in Five
from Faith in Five · host Mark VanDellen
One of the best ways to cultivate an attitude of gratitude is through the people around us. Not only when things are going well, but also when we are going through our hardest times When we think about best friends, we typically think of the good times...the fun we’ve had, the celebrations, the things we have in common, etc. The good times are extremely important, but a key to cultivating gratitude is also seeing how friends have shown up in the bad times, how you may have disagreed and worked through it, or the times when we could be vulnerable, authentic, and accountable. The caution here is not to measure your friendships by the highs, but to be intentional about fostering friendships that are strong enough to endure the lows. Gratitude is fickle when it flows from the highs alone. If you're interested in making a donation to our ministry, please click the link below: https://www.faithinfive.com/donate Listening on the go?
