Gravity Falls, S02E1&2

Thank you ever so much to Melanie for commissioning this episode! Oh boy I am so excited to be getting into the next season of the show y'all. This is a real pleasure to cover, and so strange and different in so many ways while still feeling deeply familiar in its humor and friendliness. I expected this season to begin with an explanation of what the hell Grunkle Stan is up to. If not his overall motive, then I thought at least his immediate actions with the machine under the Mystery Shack would be hinted at. However, no such luck! I'm still none the wiser about what he's after or what the hell is going on in the town of Gravity Falls.
