Great Advice for Those Looking to Join the RAF/RN/Army

A great and well written email from an 18 year old who is doing some great work on himself as he attempts to get into the RAF as a pilot - GREAT ADVICE here!'The best advice I have to give to any prospective pilots is this: be pragmatic in your approach to joining the military with healthy expectations and no small amount of determination. Try to enjoy the journey without fixating on the destination or at least value the selection process as life experience, otherwise you will never be satisfied with any amount of progress. However, it is important to have a destination to aim for; it gives your life purpose.
