And for the sake of even more history to talk about, what better place than Baltimore, Maryland, the site of Sting’s first World Title win vs. Ric Flair at this same pay-per-view as well as the site of Ron Simmons defeating Vader to become the first African American to hold the World Title…We preface with this because nothing on GAB 2000 comes close to either one of those events. There is some infamy here, folks, and many of you know without listening what we’re talking about. Pretty big show: Kevin Nash challenges “The Man with the STROKE!” Jeff Jarrett as well as two possible career-ending matches (yeah, right) for Ric Flair (battling his son David) and Hulk Hogan (taking on Billy Kidman with a World Title shot at stake as well). Of course, this wouldn’t be complete without someone getting set on fire as Sting battles Vamprio in a Human Torch match.
