He had the role of a young bisexual man involved in an open love triangle with a gay Jewish doctor and a middle aged divorcee. The film saw a kiss between two men, only a few years after male homosexuality had been decriminalized in England and Wales.  The movie was ground breaking and is still one of the few that has ever really tacked bisexuality. But did it do bisexual people justice? Could it have gone further? Murray turns the clock back more than 50 years to remember exactly how it all happened. He also touches on his musical career, musicals - and his other films including working with Hayley Mills and the late Hywell Bennett. If you'd like to suggest an interview (or reunion) with a past star/stars of any soap, comedy, drama. children's series, quiz show or film, then please drop us a line via the contact us page on the Distinct Nostalgia website at www.distinctnostalgia.com or email [email protected] Nostalgia is a Made in Manchester Production.NOTE: The Distinct Nostalgia theme is owned by MIM Productions and composed by Rebecca Applin and Chris Warner. Support the show
