We like to call it the supernatural hour and now our host Hey, welcome to the supernatural hour podcast. I am your host Raven. I'm wrote this is doc and I'm Chad It's been a hot minute since doc has been on yeah, I don't know when I'll be back as I'm gonna be heading out of the country as well So you know that's a thing we'll try to make the most of it and you guys just got back So yeah, well Rogue started it she went to Mexico and I did and then we did Egypt and I'm going to the UK Yeah, so we're just crazy world travelers right now. Wonderful.

I'll be chilling with the queen in Windsor She wasn't feeling good enough to be at her own like Jubilee celebration, so I'm a little worried Yeah, but she showed up she was she made her show me she didn't she came out in her bright green coat matching it speaking of not well enough We've got someone not here today. Yes, and it is not with us today. He he is not feeling quite up too far So fair enough. He will be here next time.

For the business we are working on hopefully a later June Investigation we've got something in the plans. We're hoping to be able to get that finalized and get the tickets up on event bright and on our website Very quickly, so hopefully that'll all be available here We don't have anything else planned, but we do have kind of our summer schedule working out we're looking at our Patrons summer party Doing that so if you're a patron we'll get you some more information on that if you're not a patron sign up and become a patron and come join us at our summer Party our summer parties are so much fun. We've had to know we've had to and they've both just been good food good company Yeah, if you're missing these you're a sad life and it's gonna be a really fun venue that we're looking at for this this upcoming summer party Yes, I forgot what it anyone's but we're going back to pace and folks. It's in pace and pacing is haunted Okay, so I think that's all I've got for the business Rogue and Emmett did a residential while we were in Egypt.
So Rogue you get to tell us how that went. Well We were back together with our favorite medium Andy. She asked us to come out and this was a vacant house So little of the back story vacant house Parents moved out of it let their son move into it and he was allowing a lot of transients drug users kind of not the best of people kind of hanging out in that house and so Andy called us out because she felt that her brother had brought some really bad stuff there and they had something She has the house up for sale and did want to sell haunted house. So we went out there and You know for me the ghosts don't like to talk to me too much But somebody talked to Andy somebody talked to Emmett and nobody wanted to talk to me, which is sad.
I'll talk to you I love you. Love you. But I was waiting for somebody a little Otherworldly like you're gonna talk to them. I was running over there.
I was like, hey, talk to me And they wouldn't but they were setting that field meter off which I have never seen that head before So that was kind of cool. So we did a really great cleansing because we wanted it to be a really nice home for somebody to go to And her brother did we had about 12 travelers. We were finding him hidden in the closet But we got him out of there. It was it was a good experience and by the time we were done all the neighbors were out there wondering What we were doing, you know bringing our bell and putting the nails in the corners corners of the yard.
Yeah, it was it was fun Awesome. That sounds great. Yeah, so we actually have four coming up. So our next podcast might be the residential podcast Because four is the angels to talk about four.
Where are they all at? Um, it's all like any really Activities move into Salt Lake County. Yep, hasten's taken a break. Yep Do you know breather move in north a little bit?
So one of us one of them's from Fairview, but she thinks that she is haunted so she's actually going to come to us so that one might be a utakian Oh Cause fairview's a drive but she's like it's not my house. It's me. She's like I can meet you guys. So anyway, we'll see how that works out Hmm.
Good afternoon. All right. Wait a minute. One other thing we didn't talk about the last public investigation that we did.
Oh, that's right Which was a very good investigation up at Kwanas Park battle creek canyon in in Pleasant Grove And I just wanted to make sure that we we touched on it last episode But we didn't really get to go into it. I was going on. We had so much going on in the episode So let's kind of review what happened on that So we went into this investigation knowing that it was dark. We had one of our fellow investigators several years ago just with his family um, decided to you know, hey, let's go we're from here and let's go check it out and The sister well as soon as they pulled up, they just felt very heavy and just like they should even still be there and the sister her nose Just didn't just start bleeding.
I mean, it's you talk you go in the summer. You get a little dry your nose can just start to bleed a little bit Docs over here going yep. Um, it they said it just burst It wasn't like oh, trickle. Oh get grabbing a tissue.
It just one minute. It's fine the next minute They're just like blood everywhere and so at that point they said you know what we're just going to call Um, but there's some pretty wild activity. We had a couple new investigators and it has been a wife couple and he was really good of You kind of feeling out where all the dark stuff was he was a dark spirit detector detector. I was gonna say oh, yeah, um, but he found us some really interesting stuff and one of our patrons was with us And he just kept getting attacked.
It turned out to be a shape shifter that was kind of following him around kept touching him We did find in the creek a little huddle of Female and child spirits native americans native americans and the interesting thing is they kind of huddled down there during the investigation And or not in the investigation during the actual battle There was a battle between the native americans and the settlers and that's why the series called battle creek Yes, and we chatted with them. They didn't really trust us. You know at first, but they opened up a little bit Uh, we got some really good activity It was a good investigation very quite active, wasn't it? Yes every every group said that they you know saw shadow people they heard voices they Um, oh, I got you know little cat balls little balls that you turn on and they flash blue and red and yeah With touch motion and I was starting to think that mine were broken because they never worked You're not broken, but maybe just too stiff or not sensitive enough or for ghosting Yeah, they're ghosting and Denise on our team has some and they worked back in the sleep But I finally got a ghost to turn them on there.
I felt pretty good about No, it was a good investigation. Yeah, that's one of those areas we'll return to again in the future See and to me a good investigation is when you have to tell people don't go home until you talk to me Because we need to cleanse you a bad you do That would be a good investigation. Yeah, we had two people that I said don't go home quite yet Let's let's make sure you're all cleaned up and we remind them all to invite spirits not to go home with them And get a little religion and um before they go and take care of things so but it it was a really interesting venue Historical it was a wonderful evening to the night was You know cool because you're in the canyon, but not cold you didn't need a jacket or anything there just your regular shirt And it was it was a beautiful night. Um, I think a mostly full moon It was really a an active Fun site and you got a ghost to play with your balls.
Yeah It's always a good night out of it. All right moving on. All right, we'll get to the main topic here I mean topics brought to you by a table, which is uh, it's pretty fabulous Mexican restaurant on linden Um, the topic that we're going to talk about is the Great Lakes triangle Which is like the Bermuda triangle, but with ludafisk and polka music Based in lake, michigan. I don't know whether you're never like polyhedrons or something.
Oh, it's always triangles Yeah, a little simplistic simple minded, but you know the trite was the most stable geometric form Yeah, it's true. There's no polygons That's an interesting thing We should come up with a haunted polygon Raven is shaking her head and rolling right south lake dodecahedron Maybe not I know that might be a three-dimensional figure actually come to think of it. It might be difficult Okay, you don't know why you guys are this way. Let me tell you guys are you're this way So our last two podcasts if you listen to us on a regular basis Um, our last two podcasts we recorded at the same time because we knew that we would be gone and not able to record And it came out a little late because I sent it in and apparently it didn't get through so it came out a couple of weeks like but And then doc has it but hey, you guys are all just punchy because it's been a few weeks for me It's been a while But yes great lakes triangle and say All right, so what I thought was interesting about this great like triangle is it's smaller than the bermuda Start again and we'll cut that out.
Oh, here we go We should leave it in the thing I found interesting about the Great Lakes triangle is it smaller than the Bermuda triangle But actually more people have been lost there And it's located in lake Michigan is that correct? Yes, so a couple of a couple sites that I researched said it was just like Michigan Which is like the third largest lake in the world or the fifth largest lake for freshwater So isn't the largest in Russia or someplace lake by call would be the deepest and probably and the largest by volume for sure But the Great Lakes are right there behind it. So they were in the top five at least So you lived in Russia did you live by lake by call at all or I was in Siberia But I was in western Siberia and by calls way out on that eastern side. So okay, I didn't make my way over to by call But some of the places that I researched made the Great Lakes triangle look like it was over all the Great Lakes But most of the stories were in Lake Michigan So I kind of think it's just Lake Michigan But it's big if you've never stood by the Great Lakes You're standing there on the on the shore and you look like it's at the ocean because you can't see the other side They're huge and it sounds like some of this lore goes back a pretty decent amount of time too Oh, yeah, the later 1800s.
I think oh, I saw something that said like the 1500s. Whoa. Yeah Okay Do share look at acquiring mines want to know looking I'm looking I'm looking at my notes Yeah, this is the first reports of strange activity date as far back as the 15th century 1400s And something even I don't know if it's within the triangle But as I was researching and doing that they also said there are some monolithic stone hinge like Structures in the bottom of the lake also that looker man-made you go out, you know, so how far back do those go? Well, and as we're researching I was like, holy cow, maybe we need to we're actually gonna break this up into two The next one won't necessarily be the next podcast it can be down the roadways But I mean we're talking ships airplanes UFO sightings Ghost ships I mean you name it they got it.
How does one triangulate? Great Lakes triangle. We're the points of reference So if you look into my brain and see the picture that I have in my brain It's gonna start it should think about a triangle and that's gonna be tipped a little bit to the west So like Chicago and diagonal to your left and then Back up. I was wondering if they had like specific like points a b and c they probably do but you look at it I'm fine if you want lots of details.
I am not your person But you have cool stories. Yes, I do. That's the thing I would be to listen to us for it and not listen to us to learn about your No, this is how I work so I'm learning Arabic, right? We are in Egypt on the Nile in a boat with a man who speaks very little English and my earbuds I wouldn't say very little English.
I would say no English He knew maybe less than very little. He knew six words. Yeah. He knew as much English as I knew Arabic.
Yeah, so none So I was trying to remember the word for crocodile because I learned it I can't remember it And so I started playing charades with my arms open making crocodile moves with my arms That's what you're working with here people. Don't ask me details. I don't have them I do crocodile charade with Arabic speaking man in the middle of the Nile and But I want to know did you figure it out? Yes, yes And do you know how you say crocodile in Arabic?
But they're Timsa and you have to go you have to breathe Timsa Not Timsa Timsa I was kind of hoping you were just gonna say crocodile I wouldn't have heard the word today crocodile Dolphin is alphine. So there you go. Perfect. All right.
All right back to the topic Okay, um, so it says to date because even though you know the activity started back as far as the 15th century Airplanes were not around in the 15th century. So it says to date at least 40 aircraft have disappeared including the disappearance of flight 2501 Um, and it was quite um a large airplane capable of being able to go through stuff pretty major swarms that kind of stuff Um, so it was in it was on June 23rd 1950. That's my birthday. Not my birth year.
Thank you very much But it's my birthday. Um, and it was fully loaded. It was going, um, New York to Seattle So you know heavy loads fuel because it's going from one end to the other No, it's not headling over Minneapolis. So I guess I could just have a little bit of you want Um, it gets to Lake Michigan.
There's a storm and if you've ever been in an airplane, you know, when you go over water or go over mountain a little bit of turbulence because you have the different air currents um, so that you know they've got little little stuff going on and There had recently been some disasters air disasters There was a DC-4 that had crashed and that I maybe see that killed 86 people within like the last two weeks So everyone was a little skittish nervous and you know, um, I've never been in bad turbulence, but I've had some that's like whoa Um, so they were supposed to pass over Milwaukee at about 1130 p.m And they were supposed to do kind of like this fancy aerial homecoming of sorts for several of the people on board And about midnight at the control tower in Mitchell field to try to contact the flight and no one had heard from them since about 1113 um And at 1113 they had radioed in to Chicago control to see if they could reduce their altitude And for whatever reason, I'm not an air traffic controller. We're all glad that I'm not because you'd all be dead um And they denied it for some reason, you know, because of their traffic they said no, you know, hold your altitude and um Never heard from him again They sent out a blind broadcast asking pilots to identify them himself by circling Mitchell field because I thought well, you know, maybe because of the storm and everything going on We can't hear them. So they said show us who you are by circling the field because then we'll be able to find you And um nothing happened, you know, they're all watching this guys and they're really nervous because they're like what happened to this plane nothing And by morning, they're like, okay, something's wrong. We've lost an airplane So we got to figure out what's going on.
So they sent out rescue boats They sent up planes and You know, the Milwaukee County morgue is getting ready for you know, just all these bodies that they know they're gonna find Um, they found just a couple little oil slicks in the water Um, but nothing that an airplane would leave. It wasn't like oh it crashed right there. They're like, okay, there's some oil on the water, but Not really enough no debris or anything like that that you'd expect from a plane going down. I mean you'd find that's a large plane I mean, that's it's a really big lake, but when you're you know, when you know where you're looking and you're doing it with other planes and everything else You can cover a lot of area.
Yeah, but the divers thought we know we're not gonna just blow off this oil slick We're still gonna dive and see what we can find nothing. They found nothing took two days. Um, it says within two days The search had spread 170 miles in diameter Um, which is a territory or not a territory an area larger than Vermont. So They could not find anything.
So near South Haven, Michigan was which was actually on the other side of the lake from where they were last located. They found Um They found 58 victims Um, but they said no no large pieces of plane Not people just people and even even the people Weren't I'm just gonna read what it says. I try not to read my notes But I'm just gonna read it says no large pieces of the plane or complete bodies were ever found Smaller bits of the dead became so plentiful that the beaches of South Haven were closed for several days And they were buried in a mass grave so no Full bodies just finding body parts. They're just finding little bits and pieces and they never to this day They have not found big chunks of plain big chunks of laws or anything of the plane.
Yeah, nothing And you know when it comes to plane crashes it's like well, you know it crashed in the mountain and disintegrated or it's at the bottom of the sea Yeah, but usually you find big chunks of stuff or Yeah, most of you know documents or something luggage who knows and it says as of 2004 Um, the person that was looking for this her name is Valerie Van Heast. She's a Michigan resident They still have not found even with all the sonar and satellite and everything They've still not to challenge this plane So this is the one that I found fascinating it's 17th century. There is a Ship and when you look up the story it tells you the whole history this person owned it and then this bird blah blah blah Anyway, as far as we are concerned, it's called the Thomas Hume It's a sooner and they refitted this sooner so that it could transport lumber back and forth across the lake and So I started doing its you know doing its job taking the lumber back and forth I kind of had a friend ship which was shipped right by a storm in 1912 Companion Had a friendship a friendship It was a friendship friendship. That's right.
Yeah, I probably should go to bed. Okay Um, and so it's it sailed for several years and suddenly it disappeared and again you're like raven it's on the lake stuff happens, right? Boats do sink sometimes boats sink The interesting thing about this I mean, you know, they were looking for rewards to try to find it because it's got a bunch of lumber on it and Some other stuff that they're holding back and forth and so then there became this Entry around it that oh the captain actually stole the ship and he's paying people off. You know, it became quite the hub of Anyway, red pirate Roberts.
Exactly Robert When they finally found the ship and I was looking to see if the year in 2006 it was discovered And when they discovered the ship so you're thinking okay, there's a ship It's on the great lake, which is basically an ocean And the other storm is gonna sink when they found it. It was perfectly intact Just at the bottom the person who discovered it said we've never seen a more intact ship in our entire life There weren't broken masts. There weren't holes on the side. It's like the boat was on the top of the water And then a hundred years later.
It's on the bottom of the water didn't look like it been through some stuff Oh, and then when they went exploring they said it was like a time capsule. They said everything was still there coins were still there and um Tools and clothing and jewelry like they're not like oh, you know, we're in the ocean and the currents are gonna Shove us all into this corner. They said you could other than the fact that it's full of water You could have just walked in there and lived You know take the dress off the hanger and take your change off the counter and put your earrings. Nope.
I'd covered everything Everything wasn't covered in silk. Nope. And to me, that's weird because if you're gonna sink you're gonna have a broken master hole To topple over or something. Yeah, lay down sideways on the anyway, so that's kind of freaky too You mentioned so we got a ship that went down Playing the one down and you mentioned something about UFOs.
Oh, yes There's always aliens to blame there are in every case I could blame it on an alien. All right, here we go funny story I'm taking a class on ancient, Egypt And we have to write a paper about the Sphinx and the paper I love this professor because all of her papers aren't just a paper with information You kind of it's kind of almost like a roleplay and this roleplay we're supposed to pretend like we are the Sphinx And we have to write a letter to the professor and explain to her When our birthday is and when we got her name Autobiographical from the Sphinx perspective. Yes fascinating. So, you know, she's saying this is what I need to know This is the format I want to end and then at the bottom it says Let's say if it was right there I would read it to you.
It says p.s I do not want to hear anything about aliens comma men from Russia comma or something else anyway, it was Probably said a lot man. Probably the whole aliens thing. Probably. Anyway, so it makes sense.
That's why I thought I'm gonna start off with aliens Oh, just kidding. She'll probably eat me now. All right, so in 1963 there was a fellow At the Great Lakes Naval Base, isn't that in Chicago? and The fellow was at boot camp and he was just standing watch this one night.
That was his job and he said he saw a craft of Considerable size appear over the base and most of the people say they're kind of triangle shaped He says it was moving very slowly and completely silent He said it was hard to estimate size but he guessed it about 200 feet in diameter and at least And less than 2,000 feet altitude. He says it had rectangular windows on the outer circumference with circumference Which glowed with a red orange light as the craft slowly revolved. He says he didn't really remember anything else He says me, you know, he says I don't know if there just was nothing else or if it was just such a dark night that the features didn't stand out But he says that's all I can describe. He says there were probably hundreds of trainees looking out the barrack windows And as he stood there just kind of staring at this like what in the heck a base security truck pulled up to the gate that he was guarding and said get in And fast or to open the gate to open the gate open the gate open it fast Um And he did so, you know, he says my orders weren't to let anybody in that gate not even the co But it was just so authoritative and you know, he's freaked out because of this thing going on all the gate So he said after his watch was over the century that was across the highway which divided the two parts of the base Uh Was in his company and came over and asked him he's like, you know, this guy came over with his mouth hanging open You know, did you see that and he's like dude, everybody saw it and they didn't hear anything else about it.
Well, this guy posted on facebook And because after so many years because this was when I say 1963 Um Had really heard anything else about it after that so he posted on facebook or not on facebook just on the internet and Another fellow answered him and he said I believe I saw the same craft He said I joined the navy was in boot camp at great lakes in march of 1963 and he and his wife had been watching a show on tv about UFOs and He said he said this was recently and he said we were watching the show on tv and so I told her I saw ufo in 1963 at the naval base And so he decided to google it and he said he was just astounded because he came up with this first guy's story And so he said what I recall after all these years was looking out the barracks window one night along with most of my company What I recall was a very large object with what looked like a porthole light slowly revolving and moving from left to right over the base I think it lasted for several minutes. The guys were saying what the hell is that but the strange thing was that in the morning nobody mentioned it And so he thought that he just had a really realistic dream. Yeah, it's not like everybody in the morning was like, hey You ever we just saw my side. Yeah, but he said no one talked about it Um, so he said even though it's been years and years and years later.
You know like 50 years later Um, he said this is the first confirmation. I've got That someone else saw that and it wasn't just a funky dream that I had the men in black wiped their memories Right. That's right. Yeah, he says we graduated bootcamp moved on and no one ever mentioned it again That is kind of weird where he was like, oh, I like do what are people to check this thing out We're down to like two people that were like, oh, yeah, the porthole thing Ufo got it I wouldn't think that would be something that you would forget Um Did you did you find out what the parameters were?
I did they have through like that's lake, Michigan and there's uh, three cities That's how triangles work Let me see if I can pull up the names again here. Hold on. I'll get you see and while you're looking that up I actually printed this is the one that shows um where it's kind of all the great lakes Uh, so this one says lake, Michigan's triangle is Benton harbor in the south and then one side of the triangle goes north to Ludington, Michigan and the other crosses to lake manatoeic in wisconsin So there's your three points for the lake, Michigan triangle And then yeah, I also noticed that there was a larger triangle that really encompassed all of the great lakes triangle Yeah, and this one that I have if you google, um, it's oh, high-o-state university. It's what is the great lakes triangle?
Um, the Ohio State University says the Ohio State University, not just Ohio State I really think I'm a v part over there The but this one actually shows, you know, planes where people were never found ships where people were never found planes with people found ships with people found and they're all I was just looking at that picture. There's lots of dots. Yep. There's been a few things that have gone down there And I mean they're like still gonna sink things are gonna crash but just really quick I'm just gonna give you some dates.
I pulled up with things with some dates on it. So 1962, um light plane went down 63 small plane 63 light plane 64 twin engine plane two people did um twin engine piper Uh in 64 65 a cessna 65 a sport plane um 66 twin engine pauper and it just goes on four or five a year um until this particular one ends uh Oh, I started on the wrong page. It starts in 1892. So they were flying systems in 1892?
No, the small planes. No in 1892. What did it crash? 1892 was um a wooden schooner.
It might have been the friendship. The friendship. Good right? There's a tugboat that went down Um And then this report only goes to 81 but there's literally two pages.
There's a couple pages there though. Yeah Um, and you know, you're gonna expect some stuff to go down But it just it's a lot of stuff a lot of people a lot of weird things at a higher density ratio than other places. Yes So Fascinating. Oh, that was an interesting main topic the Great Lakes triangle if I have to pick a lake to visit it Probably won't be like Michigan try to avoid flying over that and I'm gonna fly over Lake Michigan is what I've decided or use a schooner It actually says pilots avoid flying over that.
I'll go up Oh iron can I'm just gonna I'm gonna adopt the pilot role and I won't fly over Lake Michigan on our flight my flight back from from Egypt I was watching a little thing and we flew by like machine. I suppose Did you do it because it came we came up over through Canada from Frankfurt? Did you notice how he said his flight home? The same flight we flew home separately.
I had had enough Apparently you had something or didn't have something now we got our we got our covid tests literally as we're driving to the airport and Chad was negative and Raven was positive so I got to stay in extra slight delay Retested because I was like there's no way I can be positive and negative. We've been breathing the same air for literally two weeks now So I retested and it was negative so I got to come home the next day But um yeah and now you're back. Yes, and we can start working on the social media again apparently Yeah, I might have I might have slacked off on the tiktok a little bit, but yeah word has it We're up to 1,986 tiktok followers. We're almost at 2,000 go find 14 friends All right main topic done.
Yep, we're gonna focus on uh, we're gonna get moving to our junk drawer But before that I wanted to touch briefly on our social media progress sounds like we're at almost 2,000 followers for tiktok We are and about 150 or so on youtube is what it sounds like so if you've got 14 friends out there And I'm sure many of you have 14 friends. We can end up on you. Let's get to 2,000 on tiktok. It's all I'm saying Get us the 2,000.
Let's get us there I think you need to throw a tiktok with a few pyramids in the background after this yeah That'll get us to 2,000. I will I had finals and then prep to go on international trip So I haven't put anything new on the tiktok recently But I will a tiktok post from it's a comment or about you do that I'll put us over that finish line I think yeah, and they told me over there that I put like hashtag Arab on it. It'll go big. Oh, we're gonna start pulling in some Egyptian some as we great.
Yep. Well this ties in the tiktok kind of this tiktok thing ties into your junk drawer Oh, yeah, it does. There you go. We went from tiktok to egypt to jump to erib to egypt to jump All right, so here we go You know I like that that is awesome.
I don't know how much that cost but it was worth every free company Okay, so Our last podcast was on ancient egyptian tomb curses and it just happened to be on the rotation Yeah, we set up the schedule months before months ago Anyway long story short. We didn't plan to go to egypt at the same time. We put out the egyptian that was totally totally equivalent That was fate right there totally coincidence So as we're going I'm like, you know, I'm taking ghost on the equipment, right? And what did Chad say?
Yes, you are. I was gonna I was gonna think Chad said how the hell you gonna get that through customs, but well That's what I thought too. I thought because I've taken what's this a ghost meter pro and they'd be like what is a ghost meter? Like what the heck you know, it's like a bomb to us.
So we're just gonna keep it So we got these cool new telescopic dowsing rods chrome telescopic they kind of look like like a pointer that you use, you know, you pull them out to do presentations in a pointer and Yeah, they're they're pretty cool. Yeah, so I didn't take anything that lights up because I didn't want it staying in an airport in a germany Or something so I just took the dowsing rods, which I'm sure you still probably got like a couple of weird looks Well, you just because they tell a scop down and I just throw my makeup back They probably just thought they were pens or yeah, but no one asked me them Um, they thought that my little mini backpack was more hilarious than anything Anyway, all right tender pack. Yeah in Germany. They're like, oh, it's a gander back Anyway, so we took the dowsing rod So the first place we went to was at the Sphinx and it if you think of the Sphinx where the feet is Um, if you go south of the feet, there's actually like a little temple there and the temple is we had a guide with us And he was explaining to us that that is where they performed mummification So I pulled out the dowsing rods Pulled out and you know, I asked charles say are there spirits here?
Yes, um, so I'm talking to the spires I'm getting nothing I said charles to these spirits speak english and the answer was no they speak arabic So I'm like, hey guide guess what you get to ask some questions for us But he told me thought it was interesting after we asked a few questions. He's like can I hold him? He was really cool. And how did he do with the dowsing rods?
You know, it takes it takes a little practice. So he did he did okay for the first time holding him He did okay, um, but we pretty much just had him ask questions And we determined that the spirit that we were talking to was a worker at the memory not like a memory I don't even know if that's a real word. I like it, but I made it up. I like it.
I'm running with it the mummory A memory like the nunnery. Yeah, but it's a memory. That's a memory. That's my word All right.
So anyway, um, he was a worker there and not like you know, the priest of the memory or anything Just kind of probably the guy that you had the broom that's it just weep up after the mummification He's the janitor of the memory Yeah, yeah, he was just talking had that job wasn't pretty much at the hospital. Yeah after traumas I cleaned up enough blood and guts too. So I can relate. Yeah, so he was in the he wasn't a top dog He was a little grunt But it was male.
It's one of the questions we asked and we didn't do like a full-in-depth several hour investigation You know each place we went was just a couple minutes because I wanted to see parents Um, but this spirit actually knew the tour guide Um, the tour guide worked with the hotel and so he was there often And we asked the spirit if he was happy with the tour guide and the answer was yes And you know, basically through yes, no questions This spirit was just really happy with this tour guide because he was helping people learn the history and learn about what they did there And you know keeping the history of egypt alive and Um, he said that he actually followed this tour guide Occasionally, I mean not like attached to him or his spirit guide or anything, but occasionally would follow him just kind of listen So that was that was that spirit. Oh, we did ask him if there were any type three's in the area and he said that yes there were Could he tell you where? Um, he did point we said point to him and he did point in the direction, but we didn't go chat with him Because we were on vacation. You don't want to be dealing with demons.
Right. Well, and then you know, we don't want the tour guide to think we were all the way crazy Just a little bit crazy. That's true when you're calling out demonic entities Yeah, you know because we wanted him to take us on another tour the next day He might have refused So a couple days later we went to sakura Actually, I'm saying that wrong sakura. Have you heard of sakura?
I've heard of it, but enlighten me So sakura is actually there's a step pyramid there and it's one of the earliest pyramids in egypt Quite a bit smaller than the ones in giza, but close still big But still yeah, I mean not like the great pyramid, but it's it's good size and older and much older much older kind of the prototype Yeah, so if you're my facebook friend like we could smooth these sides out a little bit next time So if you are my facebook friend, this is where you see me sticking my hand out indian jones style into a whole mystery Whole I did use the flashlights looking there to make sure there weren't spiders because i'm from utah and there's black widows in mystery holes So shine the light So I've got a friend that lives in egypt and he was with us for a couple of days and he told me if something grabbed me He would grab me and pull the other way so it's a little tug of war. We were sick Yeah, so we spoke with a spirit there because there was there's a step pyramid and then if you kind of walked across court urine for better lack of a better word there were some like burial chambers back in there and We were wandering around the burial chamber and I went a little rogue and kind of went and stood by one of them Hope that in egyptian, please wouldn't let me um they didn't I'm good. I got yelled at later, but um not then I may have been standing somewhere that I might have fallen off and died and he told me to get down so Oh, were you trying to take the selfie? No, but I was trying to take a picture of a flower garden on the ground, you know So I touched the chandelier too.
I just reached out and touched it. I am that person I did that with the world series trophy one time and then they were promptly removed from the room That was in boston. So I feel you kid would spare it on that one. That's an interesting thing I will touch it.
I will stick my hand in it after checking for black widows. All right, so We actually talked to a little fellow there and he was a shepherd You know we had no time did we talk to like king tat or neforteria or anything Um, he wanted to cross But he didn't at the same time Is that if that makes sense? I feel like you want to go on the fairs will but you'll throw up if you do kind of thing sounds like a good time, but right? So um, we asked him if he knew how And he said he did and so he said so you'll cross when you're writing he said yes, he would Um, I don't remember much more about that fellow other than that.
I don't know because again didn't speak english So we had to have my friend ask us or no questions um, and then the last place we investigated was in alexandria in a In a castle of fortify The citadel okay, and this one I thought was really cool. I'm gonna jump in there. Okay. No, you can't because I'm tired of her myself Okay, so You've heard of the seven wonders of the world right the pyramids or one of the wonders of the ancient world one of them another ancient wonder Was the great lighthouse of alexandria and we're looking at that and I'm looking over at the citadel Um out on this point Um, and I thought I think I have seen a you know a documentary about that I said I think that is where the great lighthouse of alexandria was as I remembered and I asked the Egyptians that we were with and they said We don't know And so we went there and beautiful I want to say beautiful big fortress, you know, I mean what four stories high ish Yeah, um, you know, I mean You know turrets in a center thing in a big Egyptian flag in the middle of it.
Yeah, go out and pull some images up there You know, it's it's a it's a very large Citadel where they had the cannon and things and guarding the harbor But it was the same spot on which the great light house of alexandria had been built And many of the stones that were used there were from the great lighthouse of alexandria So it had been rebuilt so that was a really neat area, you know, with a lot of ancient ancient history and even the The citadel was from like the 1300s and 1400s Um, and one of the things that they that they did talk Raven was was pretty excited about having a tour guide with a machine gun Well, he was just like he was a one of the different policemen But for some reason he took a liking to us and he's like hell show you around because we didn't have an official tour guide We had our driver and my friend um, yeah, so he and his machine gun called us around and this is his and that is that he didn't speak any english So it kind of came and he shoot people out of the way and we were like and sent they had a machine gun everyone was willing to oblige Yeah, he said uniform and that's a machine. Yeah, he got the search. He's like move move move and they're like oh And then he's like come come come over. I'm coming What a yala yala yala yala yala bean yala bean let's go everybody yala bean so he was a very interesting guy and was you know Showing us around and it was very neat So we went down into the basement and the basement was stinky.
It was stinky down there Yeah, because it's like, you know, right on the ocean and there's like a quarter inch of water at the bottom of all the time and Yeah, I can see that. It's kind of that stinky Salt watery smelly day. Yeah, so pulled out the dalcy no ones Um, this time I think we gave him to the driver and again the spirit didn't speak english this fellow that we spoke with Said, you know, we asked if there were other spirits In the basement he said yes, and we determined that there were in the entire citadel there were over a hundred um, most of them were of the era Um, the vallex ended the great and you know Romans kind of kind of those era the Greek Roman Um, he was actually Roman Um, and that is all I remember about him again We're having to have people that have never go scented to ask questions and I'm trying to give them questions in english A little bit of a language barrier or we probably would have done a little bit more, but it was still interesting and then um I put a little teaser on my facebook page that said oh, you know, I'm going to go to the mummies And so we went to the chai room museum I was super excited and I could have just hung out on them in the mummy room the whole time I was perfectly happy there except it was closed Well, the the royal mummies were closed because they're building a new museum Just right kind of north of the pyramids. It's supposed to be like one of the largest museums in the world And so I think they were getting ready to move the royal mummies there So I was very disappointed that the royal mummies were closed, but there were still plenty of mummies in there There were a lot of mummies.
There's a lot of mummies, but I don't know I just- A lot of sarcophicuses versus sarcophic eye. I don't know what you call them So they'd had just some mummies that were just laying out where you're like with that. It's obviously a mummy But then the sarcophagus, you know, every once in a while one would say, you know, the person that this belonged to was still in there So I was like, ooh, right. Ooh There was one mummy where just because of grave robbers and you know Not taking care of it very well.
Things were decaying. Their toes were sticking out. I think that's cool I'm morbid. I'm sorry.
I'm like those toes are thousands of years old. Old to toes. Anyway But I just got an overwhelming feeling of don't go somewhere Part of it was because there were a lot of people there. It would make it hard.
There were a lot of people there I didn't want people thinking what are you doing? But even beyond that because I don't mind any people staring me all the time I'm funny looking I guess but I just thought no these mummies No, so I didn't actually go to some of these guys. I just don't think about it. I felt like they just wanted It's like, you know what we're laying here.
We have people got out of the last thing you want to do is answer questions That's what I was just gonna say. They're already somebody's entertainment and death They don't they don't need more. So I just thought you know what no, there's this is ancient Egypt There's plenty of other places to go so I'll just let them rest as much as we are able to do so So can you touch tomb stuff was there? Yes.
Well, the funny thing is we're sitting down kind of taking a break and I'm like is king Tut here? Or seen England I think he's here anyway. We got up and we walked like five steps. I'm like, oh, hey look there's king Tut.
I'll go to the British Museum I'll let you know what's there. Okay. Well, I know King Tut is not he's an Egypt Yeah, it was really it was a fascinating exhibit with his stuff from his his tomb and his sarcophagus and death mask and everything You know, I mean I've seen them in pictures I've seen them in documentaries, but it was really great to be right there and and see them in person I'm not sure if he's in that sarcophagus or if he's over with the royal mummies. I'm not sure We don't know it doesn't matter because we couldn't lift up the top of the sarcophagus and we can see the royal mummies I'm assuming there was a reasonable amount of security there.
So even if you wanted to Let me fall to my death. I don't let me open King Tut's tomb. So I don't think he's in the sarcophagus I don't think he's in there. I don't think he is either.
I think he's I want to say he is I want to say he's somewhere else in another museum See, he doesn't even get to be with his really cool stuff Yeah, and they made that stuff for him when he died. Yes, they did right. I can't even hang out with it Well, some of it was appropriated from other things because they weren't planning on him dying at 19 or whatever it was I mean there was there's some of it. Some of it through documentaries.
I've seen where they come up with something quick That's one of the things I was looking at some of the intricate work on that and I thought wow they must have done that fast They were they were on a tear and it's amazing because he was really kind of a minor king as you know as pharaohs go at the time but the fact that his tomb was Unspoiled it hadn't been found and it had all the stuff in it. He's the most famous Because he had a very complete burial chamber basically and you know it happened in the 1920s And it's well documented and you know all of that So you go from being a minor obscure King than everybody really knows about that had a very short thing to being you know the the pinnacle pharaoh of everybody knows it's true Name start naming up arrows ramsies. Ramsies. Talk.
Uh, and we went to Memphis where ramsie stuff was that was pretty cool too Yeah, that was there's like a great class of ramsies that was laid down and they had a whole You know it was covered over But then just really neat stuff and that stuff goes way back. Oh, yeah, it was the original capital of Egypt All right. Anyway, so that was all right. I'm gonna add to that because I had to google So google I I believe he is in that sarcophagus.
Yeah, well, it says Tutankhamen's mummy and sarcophagus are still on display in the tomb So i'm gonna say he's there Per google will run with it All right, I won't go see king Tuttinghammed And if I do see king Tuttinghammed We got bigger things to worry All righty. Well stay on to my spooky friends. I thought it was stay spooky your hunt. Hey, I shaken up every once in a while keeps interesting All righty then love you nipless.
