This week in Disney News, Disney recently announced a new show coming to Disney+ on May 4th called The Disney Gallery. As you may have guessed by the release date, The Disney Gallery is Star Wars-related. This show’s going to offer a behind-the-scenes look at The Mandalorian! And yes, of course, that’ll mean more Baby Yoda! Also, good news for fans of the brilliant and zany Taika Waititi. After reading the script for Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris Hemsworth says the script sees Waititi, the writer-director, “at his most extreme.” We’re expecting a pretty crazy ride! Since this is our 100th episode, we thought it’d be fun to go through a few of our favorite episodes and then do a sort of greatest hits of Disney as they’re getting close to 100 years old. We cover several events throughout Disney history starting before the company’s inception with the meeting of Walt and Ub Iwerks through Disney’s acquisition of many successful and fantastic companies like Lucasfilm, Pixar, Marvel, and Fox.
