“Great to Good Leaders”

When we say “our world needs great leaders,” we often aren’t thinking small enough. Most of our lives are shaped most significantly by the leaders right around us—parents, pastors, managers; teachers and principals; friends and mentors who speak into our lives. And we often miss the distinction between great leaders and good leaders. Greatness is about talent; goodness is about character. And the Proverbs show us that if you compartmentalize God out of your leadership, you won’t be as good of a leader as you could be, no matter how great you are. Great leaders make great decisions; good leaders make better ones.
