Send us Fan Mail On this Halloween episode of the Hockey Cards Gongshow podcast, we start with honoring the NHL's greatest #27, Scott Niedermayer for episode 27 (2:05). Next, it's time for our weekly rookie deep dive, and this week listener's chose Calen Addison (17:14). From there, we looked at who's hot; Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, David Pastrnak, Matthew Tkachuk, and Shane Pinto and looked at the impact their early season play has had on their hockey card values (22:00). We're also back with our second installment of the Struggle Bus (32:54). In hobby news, we examined the Shane Wright situation and gave our opinions on whether the Kraken should send him back to the OHL rather than being a frequent healthy scratch (44:20). Because it's Halloween, we thought it would be fun to look at the most popular, and valuable, NHL mascots (52:40), and our favorite Enforcer or Goon hockey cards ever (1:01:20). The 2022-23 Upper Deck Series 1 complete checklist is out (1:17:10), and we end the show with personal pickups (1:19:45).
