Part 2 Acomi and Turk182 continue their discussion on the 14 Best Opening Lines In Cinema article posted by MovieWeb.com on April 10, 2023. They describe their list as powerful opening lines of dialogue, that captures the viewer's attention and sets the tone for the movie they're about to experience. While both Acomi and Turk believe this is true, not all the movies chosen by MovieWeb live up the promise the website is making. In some cases, the opening line is more appreciated upon a second viewing, when the audience already knows the cinematic experience they are about to embark on, again. In others, the opening line serves as just an opening, and doesn't prepare the viewer for anything more then their current expectations.
