Greco-Roman Podcasting

Did you know that the Roman god Jupiter and the Greek god Zeus are basically the same guy? This is because of centuries of Roman rule over Greece as well as Greek cultural influence within the Roman Empire resulting in a cultural and religious fusion. The same may one day be true of olive oil thanks to today’s groundbreaking edition of Raised in Wisco as Joel (The Italian Stallion) interviews Dimitri Kallianis (The Greek Freak) about his family’s amazing history as olive growers. What’s the difference between Greek and Italian olive oil? Where does this stuff come from in the first place? Is Producer Jakob a man? All of this and more will be answered today in this exemplary showcase of Greco-Roman podcasting. Born in Wisconsin and making their adventuresome lives here, Joel Kleefisch and Danielle Fairman are Raised in Wisco. Each week, we connect YOU to the incredible natural resources of our state. Whether you’re looking to find new ways to take food from field to table or for new outdoor hobbies, we’ve got you covered!
