Banned Books 1517 Podcasts Welcome to Banned Books, where we read and converse with the rebel children, the holy mischief-makers of God, who fight against the kind of useless religious, spiritual, and moral methods of life improvement that seeks to smother the glory of God in Jesus Christ. We want to introduce you to those who forgot everything except Jesus Christ and him crucified. We all struggle with fear of being last, lost, least, littlest, and dead, and so we are here to encourage, challenge, provoke, and maybe even offend you by introducing you to theologians who at one time or another were banned by their church, declared dangerous, or simply vilified for daring to confess that Christ alone is the way, truth, and life. Welcome rebel children, holy mischief makers, and fools for Christ. This podcast is for you. Powerful Tales Powerful Tales 1 Power of Ponytails (POP) is a beautiful initiative of RID 3012. It is all about empowering people who take charge of their lives. Under this project we donate hair for creating wigs for cancer survivors, spread awareness about cancers affecting women, and preventive measures. In the current tenure, we are introducing a new wing to the project called Powerful Tales which will essentially focus on trans people, people who cross-dress, people who lose their hair due to medical reasons and people who prefer short hair, long hair or no hair at all. We wish to empower them and spread the message that hair should not affect the way we live our lives just like our race, religion, gender, cast, etc. Bible Study Company: Podcast for Pewsitters Ric and Mary Joyner Introducing Bible Study Company Podcast. Prof. Andrew Louth was the occasion for a small colloquium. Fr Andrew, who taught patristics in Oxford and Durham, is currently visiting professor at VU University Amsterdam and a member of the Dutch Centre for Patristic Research (CPO). At the colloquium we took up themes explored by 20th century thinkers of the Russian emigration, who tried to bring their patristic past into dialogue with contemporary Western ideas. One of the themes of the Orthodox diaspora is the ‘realm’ between the Creator and the created world. Who or what negotiates this abyss?
