Kristin asked Steve about what he saw going down in Green Bay during the draft festivities the previous night. This just in, former U.S. Representative from New York George Santos was sentenced to 87 months in prison. Steve and Kristin discussed this and how local journalism played a role in his election and his many controversies. They next talked about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' latest initiative to get teenagers to work in his state. Steve and Kristin discussed the U.S. Supreme Court taking up a case from Maryland that could let families opt their children out of reading LGBTQ books. Meanwhile, the Navy canceled a speaking appearance from podcaster Ryan Holiday where he planned on talking about banned books, including those banned by the military; Steve and Kristin discussed this as well. To close off the show, Steve and Kristin discussed a study that said old age brings better quality of life.
