James Cargas, a managing attorney for Green Energy Law, shared his career journey and experiences in energy law on episode 265 of The Green Insider Podcast. He was assigned to the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the primary campaign. James discussed his involvement in the Bill Bradley campaign, followed by his work in the Clinton Administration, and eventually joining the North American Energy Standards Board in Houston. He also shared his experience working for the city of Houston, where he was part of the city attorney’s office and contributed to the city’s sustainability and energy initiatives. Mike asked James about the biggest surprise he faced during his tenure in the city, to which James responded that it was the professional challenge of working with a large- scale energy budget.
