Green Party deputy leader Jonathan Pedneault announces he is stepping down from his position for personal reasons. He is joined at the news conference in Ottawa by Elizabeth May, who is now the Green Party’s sole leader. Pedneault won the leadership of the party in November 2022 on a partnership ticket with May, who had previously served as leader from 2006 to 2019.
