Greening with Green Methanol

Dr. Jeff Bonar, a computer scientist with a background in software development, shifted his focus towards environmental sustainability by exploring green methanol as a solution to reduce carbon emissions. Realizing that carbon accounting software was impractical for farmers, Bonar founded CapCO2 Solutions, which partners with ethanol plants to capture carbon dioxide emissions and convert them into green methanol. This sustainable fuel is used in aviation and other industries, providing a new revenue stream while reducing environmental impact. The process, which takes about two years to implement, relies on renewable energy sources to ensure it remains environmentally friendly.
