Greg L. Davis talks his book, "Black Man" | Midday Break Room w/ Tiffany Bacon - 8.5.26
from WURD Radio · host WURD Radio
Greg L. Davis is the author of the book, Black Man: A Prophecy of Hope for the Times Ahead. In this book, Greg introduces a Biblically-based assertion regarding "divine reparations", which he contends are immediately available to descendants of Transatlantic slavery victims worldwide in the form of "life capital"-endowments by which African American and black persons can take possession of the unrealized inheritance of their ancestors. Of all the work he has ever done from a writing perspective, Greg considers the Friday afternoon in January of 2023 when he made the commitment to become a professional author and speaker to have been a sacred moment of demarcation, and Black Man: A Prophecy of Hope for the Times Ahead is the first of many books that will be passionately written from the depths of his soul; books designed to encourage, inspire, and empower a generation of growth-minded seekers of love, truth, righteousness and justice to commit to living lives rooted in excellence, and which are intentionally purposeful. Greg joins the show to talk about why he wrote the book, the current system struggles that Black Americans still face today, his stance on reparations, and the grand scheme of racial hierarchy in this country.
