The visionary we are putting in the spotlight in this episode is Associate Professor Greg Oates. Greg is an academic at UTAS who wants kids to have the power over their own destinies. He loves teaching so much that he teaches our teachers as the program director for the Bachelor of Primary Education course at UTAS where he’s making a real difference for the state. He also thinks it’s essential for someone in his position to spread his understanding to others in his field through conferences and seminars many of which he’s organised or helped organise bringing dozens of international experts to Tasmania.
