"Anyway regardless of whether you agree with my theology or not I think I am on safe ground to say that Jesus is using an emphatic word when He puts the choice before us.Perhaps today we recognise this concept better as materialism and consumerism. Serve God or serve this worlds system that deifies worldly wealth is Jesus challenge. One offers instant gratification but is only fleeting and temporary. The other is permanent and eternal. Which path have you chosen? And on that cheerful note I finish."
