She challenged me to produce a novel and gave me an independent study project: Write a novel. At age 17, I did just that! Well, I tried. Now retired, I have rekindled my love of writing stories. In the past few years, I have been fortunate to have found homes for my short stories in almost 20 different anthologies, magazines, journals, and even a podcast!
