We're decking our halls with the bowels of Gremlins; a 1984 American horror comedy film directed by Joe Dante and written by Christopher Colombus, with Stephen Speilberg serving as Executive Producer.  The score was composed by Jerry Goldsmith, and it stars Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, Dante mainstay Dick Miller, Hoty Axton, Polly Holiday, Corey Feldman, and Howie Mandel as the voice of Gizmo, the main Mogwai character.
