Grief And Its Stages - Part I

from Awkward Talks

Part one Grief, in simple terms, is adjusting to a loss. It can be any loss, be it the loss of a loved one, a dream, a job, or even trust. It can be big or small, last for hours or years, feel as sharp as the cut of a knife, or dull as a deep bruise. No matter the specific circumstances, grief is always normal. This is something all of us go through. We also see our near and dear ones go through it. It is very rare that we try to understand it. When we go through it, we feel like the end of the world and when your dear one goes through it, we are at a loss about how you can help them. We need to talk about this certainty in our lives. This is my attempt at it. In the next part, I will talk about "Millennial Grief"
