Grief, Art, and the Death Industry

from Bounce Back Generation Podcast · host Bounce Back Generation

This is the Bounce Back Generation podcast. Today we're going to speak with Susan Oppie. **Trigger warning ** This podcast subject today is about death and dying and the grieving process that we go through when a loved one is gone. Susan is an advocate for bringing back the ancient traditions of honoring our deceased loved ones through ritual and providing after death care to our dead. She believes that such reconnections with our final rite of passage Are not only are inalienable rights as human beings, but can also benefit the grieving process in beautiful healing and even transformative ways. She's the founder of One Washcloth, a nonprofit dedicated to guiding people through the experience of death and dying of a loved one. Interested in how the diorama project turned out?
