Grief, Rare Diseases, Family Medicine Workforce Problems

Medical Mojave is next reviewed with a sick child and her personal risks for exacerbation of adrenal insufficiency which can flare up with stress. Anaphylaxing with Mast Cell Disease and others is briefly reviewed w/ thoughts of various stressors and adjusting her steroid dose.   Dr Laurie Edwards tweets/blog comments on her use of technology and social media to show her child's physician the breathing problem and use of tech to support her own care and rare disease site NORD. Dr Kenny Lin's blog Common Sense Family Doctor is about doctors knowledge about price of therapies and medication.  Healthcare etc. posts about red meat and Harvard paper/ flaws. Dr S post laments conflict between workforce needs and closure of Family Medicine training sites, one at a time.
