Leanne Friesen is the founder and facilitator of the Instagram page "Grieving Room," which has grown to over 20,000 users in just one year! She is also the author of the forthcoming book "Grieving Room," which will be released in 2024. Leanne is a fellow griever who became particularly passionate about grief education after the death of her sister in 2013. Additionally, she is an ordained minister who regularly officiates funerals and supports grieving people. Leanne believes that grief does not need to be minimized, avoided or fixed - instead, we need to give it room.
