Griffin’s Rough Debut Costs Guardians | Cleveland Guardians News

Foster Griffin’s disastrous debut for the Guardians—five runs in four innings, two homers surrendered in the second—sealed a 13-6 loss to the surging Mets, who swept their road series for the first time this season. Cleveland’s skid now stretches to 11 of 14 games, slipping further behind Texas in the wild card race. Despite a three-run homer, the offense couldn’t overcome Griffin’s meltdown or shaky defense, as New York added four more runs in the eighth. The Guardians head to Chicago next, hoping for a turnaround before it’s too late. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
