Grindhouse Pizzeria - ”Hillbillys In A Haunted House”

from Cinema Degeneration · host Cinema Degeneration

On Episode 22 of our show "Grindhouse Pizzeria" which is dedicated to all things encompassing various Grindhouse, Drive-In, and Exploitation genres, we will be reviewing and dissecting a first for us here at Cinema Degeneration with 1967 G RATED!!! "HILLBILLYS IN A HAUNTED HOUSE". Directed by Jean Yarbrough (who had over 130 feature film and TV directing credits to his name) and quite the horror legendary lineup including John Carradine, Lon Chaney and Basil Rathbone.  This film follows a trio of country western singers who are on their way to a jamboree but instead get mixed up with ghosts, spies and the aforementioned Haunted House. This film is silly, whacky, light hearted, goofy and did we mention it's a musical?  Not our usual fare here at the Pizzeria but a fun romp noentheless. Our discussion is headed off by our regular hosts Tom Komisar and Cameron Scott! Join the two of them for a grueling good time!  Come on in at the Grindhouse Pizzeria, pull up a chair and grab yourself a slice!   "Nothing but a weirdwolf... A WEIRDWOLF!"
