Grobler makes SSU tick- Tembo
from Soccer · host SABC Sport
Supersport United head coach Kaitano Tembo has hailed Bradley Grobler as their best forward and believes that his return to the team came at the right time. Tembo was speaking after Grobler scored his third goal in two MTN8 matches against Kaizer Chiefs this past weekend to take the team to the final on the 29th of this month. The Bafana Bafana striker, the son to former Moroka Swallows free scoring striker Les Grobler, had been out of action for seven months before returning last week to score a brace in the first leg semi-final and the only goal in the second leg at FNB stadium on Saturday night. United have now reached six cup finals in three years and this talks to the competitive levels of the club but most importantly also the squad they have assembled. The final against Cape Town City is the repeat of last year’s Wafa-Wafa final and Tembo was on the bench as Eric Tinkler’s assistant when they won on penalties. The former Zimbabwean international says they now need to go back to challenging for the league honours.
