Group Therapy Thursday

It's Group Therapy Thursday!  Dear Ted and Amy,My niece graduated from high school in May and the whole family went to the graduation and party. We traveled out of state, paid for gas, tolls, hotel, meals, helped set up/clean up and gave a very nice check in the card. We never got a thank you note for any of it. Now my sister-in-law sent out a huge group text to family & friends asking people to send cards/letters/packages (and coordinate it so she doesn’t get them all at once) to her daughter while she's away at college. Your daughter couldn't thank anyone (grandparents, other aunt/uncle, my family) for graduation money but now you want us to send cards and packages while she's away at college so she's not homesick?
