Group Therapy Thursday

It's Group Therapy Thursday today and once again this letter came straight from our anonymous entries page. Back in January we booked an Airbnb and activities for a bachelorette party. Two weeks later, one of the bridesmaids decided to bail out. She sent a generic text in the group chat that she was “out of her element” and decided not go. Three months later “said” bridesmaid asked the bride if it was rude if she asked for her money back. The bride asked me my thoughts and I said she needed to talk to the group chat since we booked as a whole, we should decide as a whole how go about it. The “said” bridesmaid adamantly refused to do that. In my opinion, she should have just ate the cost of the trip. ($255/a portion of that covering the bride). This caused so much turmoil and frustration, we ended up cancelling the whole trip. Now I’m undecided if I want to even try to plan another one or will I end up in the same boat?
