Grow: GOD

from The Grow Podcast Hosted by The Grow Podcast

Join Wendy Jo and Ashley as they discuss GOD. God, as understood across various cultures, religions, and philosophical traditions, is a supreme being or force that is believed to be the creator and overseer of the universe. This entity is often given certain attributes, such as omnipotence, omniscience, and benevolence, with many viewing God as the ultimate source of morality, purpose, and meaning in life. However, the concept of God is complex and varies widely among different beliefs. While monotheistic religions like Christianity, Islam, and Judaism believe in a single, personal God, polytheistic religions might venerate multiple deities with distinct roles and attributes. Moreover, some philosophical perspectives approach God as an impersonal force or ground of being, while others may question or deny the existence of any divine entity altogether. Some simply believe God is energy, and when one is connected to this universal energy, they have more clarity and understanding, as well as a deep-rooted connection to all that is. Some feel that this connection helps them to live as their true selves, with purpose and love. The understanding of God, thus, is deeply subjective, shaped by cultural, historical, and individual perspectives.
