Growing Beyond Forgiveness

Pastor Allen Bonnell teaches from 2 Peter 1 that forgiveness is the beginning of the Christian life, not its destination. God has provided everything believers need for life and godliness, but spiritual maturity requires intentional obedience and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Peter calls Christians to grow in virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love so they will bear lasting fruit, gain confidence in their faith, and faithfully follow Christ through every season of life.
