Growing controversy over release of suspect w/ 9 kilos of fentanyl...3 people wounded in 3 shootings since Thursday night in Pittsburgh...Physician who created Mr. Yuk dead at the age of 83

The Democratic candidate for Allegheny County District Attorney is denouncing a decision made by a district judge. NewsRadio KDKA's Rob Taylor has the story: 27 year old Yan Carlos Cepeda of New York was arrested on August 31st at the Greyhound Bus Station Downtown for allegedly having 450,000 doses of fentanyl in his backpack and luggage. One day later, magistrate judge Xander Orenstein released him on nonmonetary bond. That decision doesn't sit well with former Allegheny County public defender and current DA candidate Matt Dugan. Dugan was a guest on the Big K Morning Show. Current DA Stephen Zappala wants a common pleas judge to set bail for Cepeda. RT NR KDKA.
