Growing God's Family

Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers are born into one spiritual family under one heavenly Father, sharing a new identity and divine nature expressed through self-sacrificing love. Regardless of background, status, or calling, every believer is an equal member of Christ’s body and is therefore called to preserve unity, walk in peace, and treat others with humility, patience, gentleness, and love. God does not leave His children spiritually immature; through Christ, He gives grace and diverse ministry gifts to equip every believer for service and build up the church. As each member cooperates with the Holy Spirit, receives sound teaching, and faithfully uses their gifts, the whole body grows toward Christlike maturity—becoming steadfast in truth, united in faith, and increasingly perfected in love.
