Growing Pains: S7E17: Menage a Luke

Hey Seaver Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Show Me That Smile Again: A Growing Pains Podcast. Today, I covered S7E17: Menage a Luke, which aired on February 8, 1992. In this episode Ben and Luke fight over a girl at school. Chrissy tries to understand her parents' jobs. I really liked this episode when it comes to what a sweetheart Luke is especially to Cheryl, he treats her with respect and Ben, well, he is just a major piece of shit this episode. Honestly, I blame the writers for not giving a shit about his character anymore. Granted, in the end he does learn a lesson on how to treat girls with respect and not view them as objects for you to use and abuse. I loved Chrissy in this episode with Maggie and Jason, learning about their jobs for a school assignment, getting them confused as Maggie and Jason come off as sexual deviants and still manages to end up having Jason and Maggie having a parent teacher conference phone call with Chrissy's teacher. Gah! Coming in April, I'll be covering S4E2: Birth Of A Seaver, which aired on October 26, 1988. In this episode Maggie goes into labor on Ben's Birthday, and she gives birth to a baby girl, meanwhile Ben wanders around the hospital and befriends an old patient named Chris. At the end Ben names his baby sister Christina. Have a great weekend everyone!
