Growing Up: Community

09/01/2019 Aswan Morris "Community" Growing Up Series 1 Peter 2:4-10 We often think we can grow on our own. If we work harder or discipline ourselves more we will do more. But the only way we grow is in community. However, community is not something we cleverly fit together, it is formed around two key elements: shared identity and shared mission. When either or both are missing you just have a bunch of individuals piled up. God calls us to be a community that displays Him as He shapes and reshapes us to be that community with one shared identity and one shared mission.
