Growing Up Mixed

Jasmine is a new mother who has spent her life facing the unending identity crisis of being a mixed race woman in the United States. Being the combination of black and white but being treated like she had to be one or the other. And she tells us that the most push back about her race comes from a place most wouldn't expect. So how is she going to continue to face these daily challenges and instill the same strength in her new daughter to do the same? Be sure to follow her journey further on her blog www.moplusco.com and her IG @kindafit_mo to see how she persists from here on. I am C. S. Join us on @CommonHumanityPodcast, so you can listen in, ask questions, and join our conversation about all the things that make us human and connect us with one another. Do the questions at the end of the segment get you thinking? Questions are an easy way to get your friends, family, coworkers, and more, to have real human conversations. I use the cards from How Game Are You? as prompts at the end of the show. Get yours here!
