Pastor DJ McMoil // Growing Up: Obey This Sunday, I have the honor of preaching Matthew 19-16-26 to you, helping Pastor Bruce finish his series on some fundamentals on the Christian faith. The topic will be Obey, and I think it can be a difficult one to get right as we try to apply it. On the one hand, we can recoil from the idea of God requiring our obedience; on the other, we can overestimate the contribution that obedience makes to our salvation. We will dig into Scripture to learn to fall in the gap between those two and give Jesus control of our hearts and actions!
