Growing Up | Prepared, Part 2 By Bill Corley Original Air Date: 2019.09.08 Growing Up – it is something we can’t wait to do when we are children but try to slow down as we get older. Part of growing up is the process of maturing. Being able to make wise choices, interact with others, hold down a job, communicate effectively, work through conflict, and handle our finances - are all key qualities of a mature person. Spiritual maturity is the driving force in all of these areas and is not dependent on age. The definition of mature in Merriam Webster’s dictionary is: having attained a final or desired state.   In the Bible, Philippians 1:6 says, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” When we strive for spiritual maturity, we can be assured that the work God began in us won’t end until we are complete according to His standards! Everything else will fall into place. You are invited to join us as we study the different aspects of spiritual maturity and how they apply in daily life.
