GSMC Baseball Podcast Episode 175: MLB and MLBPA Coronavirus Agreement, Playoff Predictions, Top Expansion Cities

Kevin discusses the agreement that was reached between the MLB and the MLBPA. The Owners gave quite a concession granting 2019 service time for 2020 if there is no season, and the players gave up receiving the entire contracts in the same scenario. This laid the groundwork for a deal to be worked out and is the best thing baseball could hope for at this point.<br /><br />Kevin then gives his predictions for the NL and AL Playoffs. It is going to be very similar to 2019 but he does discuss the possibility of expanding the field due to the current circumstances. A 7 team format for both Leagues could be a ton of fun. Would the Braves pick the Phillies? Would the Astros pick the Angels? <br /><br />Kevin ends the episode by discussing the Top 5 Cities he believes will be next in line to receive an MLB team during the next expansion. His top choice is Las Vegas, Nevada. The Golden Knights and soon the Raiders will be in town as well.
