GSMC Baseball Podcast Episode 196: MLB Draft Round 1 Recap

Kevin breaks down each team's selection in round 1 of the MLB Draft. There were a few surprises, one of which happened early with the second overall pick. The Orioles, Red Sox, and Marlins made surprise selections but overall there were not too many unexpected picks in round 1. Kevin gives you his thoughts and reactions on each pick and then talks about what to expect for rest of the draft moving forward.<br /><br />Kevin wraps up the episode discussing the latest in negotiations between the Players and Owners. There have been offers made back and forth but no real traction on movement towards a deal yet. Rob Manfred gave an unofficial timeline of this weekend to get a deal done before he steps in and uses his power from the March agreement to basically mandate a season.
